a. No, not unless it must be
digitized. We have most true type
fonts or one similar to most fonts.
q. What is digitizing?
a. It is the process of changing a
file such as a jpeg into a file that
may be stitched.
This is a process where we
tell the program how and where we
want the stitches to go to make a
certain design.
A

digitized to make it have stitches
rather than pixels.
q. How long will my design be on
file?
a. We will keep your design on file
indefinitely.
q. Can I change the colors in the
designs from the design catalogue?
a. Yes, most colors are able to be
changed. There are, however, some
that cannot because they are an
integral part of some other part of
the design also. We will discuss
this with you before you order.
q. Can you change the size of the
designs from the catalogue?
a. Most designs can be increased or
decreased by 20%.
q. Do I have to pay for the
digitizing before I order shirts?
a. Yes the digitizing must be paid
for before we do the work.
q. Can a design that has been
digitized be edited?
a. Yes a design can be edited. Most
edits are free. If there are major
changes to the artwork or design
there will be additional charges.
q. Are other sizes available, for
shirts, that are not on the site?
a. Yes some items do have larger
sizes available.
q. Why is there no tax charged on
clothing items?
a. In Pennsylvania there is no sales
tax on clothing.
q. When is it better to get
embroidery rather than screen
printing?
a. If you want a classier, more
professional look. If you want
individual names or numbers.
q. Are the designs for sale?
a. No, they are to be stitched on an
item of your choice.
q. Can I provide my own shirts?
a. No, we will provide the shirts.
q. How small can I make lettering?
a. Lettering can be no smaller than
¼ inch.
q. Do you ever run specials?
a. Yes, please frequent our site to
check out our specials. Also follow
us on facebook and twitter.
q. Can shirts be returned?
a. All orders are final. Of course
if we make an error your order will
be replaced once we have received
the order in question.
q. Can I order blank shirts?
a. Yes, contact us for pricing.
q. Can I return blank shirts?
a. Yes, however, there is a 25%
restocking fee. Your money will be
returned minus the 25% once we have
received the order in question.
q. Can I call with an order?
a. You can call to discuss an order,
but the order must be placed through
the website.
q. Can I have names put on shirts?
a. Yes. Each name must be typed on
the order form and approved before
final submission.
q. Will I be charged to add a name
along with a design?
a. If the name is above or below the
design there is no extra charge. If
the name is to be stitched in a
separate location on the item there
will be an additional charge per
shirt.

designs?
a. Yes

Embroidery Process
We have the ability to take your
artwork and make it into a design
that can be stitched. This process
is called digitizing. We will
provide you with a professional look
for your business, organization, or
team.

We also offer a large variety of
stock designs, (designs that are
already digitized), in our design
catalogue.
These designs are divided
into many different categories to
make it easier for you to view and
decide. Once you have decided you
may add that design to your cart.
Our stock designs are beautifully
digitized by the professionals at
Dakota Collectibles.
These designs are not for
sale.
They will only be sold as
designs that are stitched on
apparel.

Do you dream in color? We stitch in
any color you can dream of.
Fonts
We stitch using most true type
fonts. Check out the fonts on your
mac or pc. We are able to stitch
most of these fonts or find a font
for you that is very similar.
Design Catalogue
Our stock designs are Dakota
Collectibles designs. They are not
for sale as designs. They are to be
stitched on the item you choose.
A wide variety of designs in many
categories are available. Click on
different categories to narrow your
search. Once you click on a design
you will see the size listed in
inches, the colors, number of
stitches and the price of the design
for each item that it is to be
stitched on.
Lettering may be added to the
design.
Prices and charges
There is no set up fee for
embroidery. Each design in the
design catalogue has a price listed.
This price is per shirt. Many
designs are listed with a cost of
$0.00. The designs with a cost of
$0.00 are included with the purchase
of the item chosen. Lettering may be
added to a design. Depending on the
final stitch count an additional
amount may be charged.
Digitizing fees
There are some designs that look
great on paper but are unable to be
digitized for the purpose of
embroidery. We will discuss this
with you after we have received your
artwork. We will digitize any viable
design under 10,000 stitches for
$60.00. Each additional 1,000
stitches is $15/1,000. This is a
one-time fee. We will keep your
design on file for any future
orders.
Artwork must be provided by customer
and be in a jpeg file format.
You will be quoted a price before
your order is submitted.
Apparel fees
Prices for apparel is listed with
the item.
Shipping charges
Shipping fees will apply to all
orders.
